lulofr
hi there, the answer is yes. i have the same machine and installed s3v2 easily. i tried also with v7 before but couldn't manage. with s3v2 i has these issues: touchpad not working, solved with ApplePS/2=no at booting. restarted and it worked. no audio fixed screen resolution can't help with networking as i have a datacard and no wifi or cable. worked to install "mobile partner". usb is fine. i'll update. and i will also look for guides on how to find/install kexts.............. scottwigan
maybe this can help? Hi, Sorry not posted back been on holidays. I had the same Kernel panicon my desktop when i installed leopard on there. Its A Panic with VoodooHDA.kext which controlls your audio. I got around this by going into system/libary/extensions and deleting voodoo.HDA.kext. repair perimssions and reboot and you should be able to boot back into leopard. lulofr
hi scott, thanks for the answer. i reinstalled everything and now it's working good. i cannot use the mic on the webcam, so if i use skype i have to insert a mic in the jack. the screen resolution is fixed, but not that much harm. my mobile internet connection is flying way faster than with win7, but don't ask me why. Hi, im not sure why you are getting the kext panic now. If you look at post 2 earlier in this blog, someone did mention that the graphics GMA4500 are not fully compatible and that may be where the kernel panic is coing from. Going to be a case of trial and error i think. ill let you know how i get on.
