Hi I have just purchased the Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.3 retail dvd.

This is my computer setup:

Asus Motherboard (P5QPL-AM)

Intel Core 2 Duo e7400

2.80 GHZ

4gb ram

Chipset: Intel G41 rev. A3

Bios: American Megatrends.

So basically I want to install Mac on it. I've gone and tried and searched through many many many guides/tutorials, and doesnt seem to work. I tried ##### and Chameleon.

Can someone please tell me where I can find the guide suited to my needs, or if you can please assist me to my needs.

I will really appreciate it. I don't want this 30$ dvd to go down the drain.

Thanks All

At the top of each forum page is a Google search box. When I type "P5QPL-AM" in that box, I find many people with success stories installing OSX on their machine. Some are struggling with things like audio and webcam and other things, but they have successfully installed. Try typing your model number into that box and read their stories.

Props to you for posting assistance to his laziness rather than flaming him like sooooo many others/forums do. Also, your post assisted me as well :)
