I have been trying to set up 10.6.X on a new system which is an HP Pavilion P6501C system, equiped with the i3 540 CPU, MSI MS-7613 system board, 4gb DDR3 memory, during installation using a single SATA II 160GB hdd on the first port, and bios SATA set to AHCI, using the built in NIC which is a Realtek 888S, (works when installing SL 10.6.3 retail, using ##### 2.7 method) built in RealTek HD audio, using the Intel GMA HD integrated graphics from the boards Intel H57 Express chipset. I have attempted installing Snow Leopard 10.6.3 retail, using ##### 2.7 boot cd to load the OSX retail install DVD. Installation completes successfully, and boots up from the ##### CD. Snow Leopard 10.6.3 boots with the ##### CD. I can't confirm it, but I do not believe audio was working, and graphics were very basic.

So coming this far is a great sign, yet when following the "#####-#####" guide found at the TonyMacx86 forum, I cripple the boot process when I apply #####'s "#####" settings. Upon rebooting I see a new Chameleon boot loader screen loading from the HDD, but always get stuck at the following message.

"appleintelcpupowermanagement : Timed Out"

I have tried -x, and single user mode with no success, and even booting with the previously working ##### boot disc now fails.

I have not been able to find much information on getting OSX on this particular system board, and really don't play around with Kexts much more than I absolutely have to for making things work. I'm asking for any advice you may have, what to look for, or maybe other possible solutions other than the #####/##### method. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone can help me out I would be so greatful.
