b1gdadd1
I want to try OSX on my notebook but I have no idea if it is applicable or not. To know if your laptop or most of the important components compatible, check here and download the windows version. And if you do decide to install OSX and encounter a problem, then before asking for any help please do the following: 1. List the OSX distro used and the options selected. 2. Don't press Enter key when you get to boot menu, press F8 or whatever and scroll down to boot verbose mode or type "-v" then press Enter. 3. Take a picture of the screen when the problem occurs. Thank you very much. get yourself a retail snow leopard 10.6.3 dvd and use either #####, nawcom or whatever boot CD is easiest for you. also, use ubuntu live cd or whichever linux distro is ok with you to extract your DSDT table. then go to Mald0n's thread, post your DSDT file so he can patch it for you. the patched DSDT file will be used with your selected boot CD. whichever boot cd you will be using, they have installation guide for it. so read it.
