Just a note to all…
HP Mini 1000 1151nr

I have installed vanilla and Iatkos S3 V2 bios version F16 (newest)

Here are my findings:
Vanilla:
1- faster startup (27 sec)
2- Audio more responsive
3- still no fn+mute or internal mic
4- Unstable 7 times out of 10 get KP.
5- faster internet because (iatkos s3 v2 has to sound map with voodooHDA so there is a delay in sound…. which delays flash animation

Iatkos S3 V2:
-1 slower startup (37-43 sec)
-2 MORE STABLE = NO KP at all
-3 updated to 10.6.7 but had to do a lot of adjustments so returned back to 10.6.3 it’s more stable
-4 better fan fuction
-no need for dsdt patch if you select right things to install.
-5 all icons working
-6 time machine working
-7 if you pinconfig voodoohda you get internal mic (took me 5 days to learn)
-8 did I mention more stable!



side not: I think maybe Iatkos S3 will work better because on this comp 10.6.2 should be max

How did you pinconfig voodoohda to make the microphone working?
It's still the missing thing...
