Why does the ram of Gt210,Gt220 matter? I am not using it in 1080p

as for nvidia 8400GS, has anyone else tried it? and make sure it didn't use Software Renderer? ie: check with OpenGL extensions viewer?

gt210 do give me QE under Lion, and i am using a gt210 with just 128 MB ram which jitters in some occasions. And i assume it was cause by insufficient ram. I check that in Win7 which uses 90 plus MB video card ram when doing nothing at all.

Nvidia GeForce G210 works great. I have an ASUS model which is silent. QE/CI working. Its hardware accelerated using QuickTime h.264. OpenGL Extensions Viewer also shows it's hardware acclerated and runs the OpenGL tests up to 2.1. (OpenGL 3.0 is incomplete on 10.7)

Are you sure about the hardware acceleration for h.264? All my test only the mobile gpus work ie 9400m 310m 320m 330m all laptops or ionitx based motherboards.

Just double checking.

Actually the GMA 950 works fine with a little DSDT patching and arch=i386 kernel edit
