Hi to all,

Well after been trying for four days in a row of doing the same thing over and over

in such different ways I've decided to come and look for professional help.

I am not able to install Snow Leopard in a brand new Western Digital hdd of 1 TB.

I have been through tutorials, forums and every possible source of mac in order to

make my new PC up and running but seems that there's something wrong with my system

or at this point could say myself.

I have been trying to install Snow Leopard in the new hdd followed all the tutorials step by step looking even the small details. I changed the config in Bios,

BIOS

boot Priority CD/DVD first

PCH SATA CONTROL - change to ACHI

ONBOARD SATA... all sata - change to ACHI

HPET change to 64-bit mode

ACPI SUSPEND - change to S3 STR

removed 2gb of memory, left only four then tried with only two 2gb. Make sure that

there's no other devices connected

to the system other than ram, hdd, video card, dvd reader only basic components...

Tutorial I have followed are these two

I'll try to explain myself as much as in detail...

I have no problems at all when I put in the ##### disc in. I am able to see Chamaleon

screen with no problem at all. Then I take it out and put the Snow Leopard in which

I just bought it from local retail store (Brand New)

Press F5 and get this message

Ebios read error error 0xbb

block 0x0 sector 0

Ebios read error error 0xbb

Ebios read error 0xbb

Type -X nothing

I also try PCIRootUID=1. did not work either.

Even sometimes the system makes a lot of noise and all the fans worked so fast that

I though It was going to explode that really worry me a lot. After a while I kept

myself reading and searching in the forum and found this

Try booting with typing: GraphicsEnabler=No -v which I found here

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=17556

Guess what after typed that command I was able to go further. I could see the instalation

screen for the first time though I was not happy yet.

Once I was in the installation screen went to Disk Utility

Then formated the hdd Mac OS Extended (Journaled)

name it Snow Leopard

Disk Utility

When the installer ask me where to install, choose Snow Leopard which I did

that was the partition I just created.

Choose Customize‚ and uncheck additional options to install them later as indicated

At this point I was happy seeing how mac was getting installed in my system at the

end of the proccess said

The waited phrase Install Succeed

Which I believe was correctly installed. I was wrong one more time.

Computer Restart

Place ##### back in drive

I get to see the Chameleon boot selection screen, choose new Snow Leopard.

Is here when my surprise comes.......

The black screens hangs for a while and this is what I get

memory allocation error! addr=0x0, size=0x8002770, File=device_inject.c, Line=246

This is a non recoverable error! System HALTED!!!

After all of that I tried to do something but nothing can be done since the partition

cannot be removed. In order to be able to use the hdd again. I have to

put in a windows 7 disc to delete the partition and start over again, again and again.

I cannot go any further than that.

I also tried the two different ##### versions the Legacy and the new one. Same problem

with the legacy version works worst. the cd drive is been funcional, the hdd is working fine

besides is an empty brand new hdd with no OS intalled on it.....

Ran test on memory dimms all of them are working perfect

Please Help me I feel so desperate and do not know what else to do....

P.S:
