Dell Vostro 1510 IAtkos v7 Problem

I recently installed Iatkos v7 10.5.7 on my dell vostro 1510 with the following components

intel core 2 duo t5670

nvidia gforce 8400m gs 256mb

3g ddr2 ram

320gb hdd

I had no problems installing iatkos by using these settings

• Kernel: default (Vanilla)
  
• Bootloader:bootloader chameleon 2
  
• Other:
  
• Package Selection:
  
• Bootloader: Chameleon 2.
  
• DSDT.
  
• Apple Decrypter.
  
• Sata AHCI (So it setup in the BIOS)
  
• Intel SpeedStep
  
• Laptop Battery
  
• Audio: HDA Vodoo Drive
  
• Vodoo driver for PS2 mouse and keyboard with touchpad.
  

but i can only boot using cpus=1 OR -x cpus=2 else the spinning wheel freezes upon booting. Any help is appreciated
