A major problem of the ATV 1st gen is it's temperature. It's getting extremly hot and i want to reduce the temperature a lil bit by spinning down the hdd if it's not in use. The only problem is: i have no clue how to spin down the hdd even with a working 10.5 mac os install. I already checked everything for hdd spin down in the GUI w/o an effect.

Seems like i need some console magic here. Has someone an idea?
