Hey guys, I'm new to this and could really use some help.

I'm trying to install OS X 10.6 onto a Sony SZ series notebook. I am trying to follow this thread:

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=211758

which tells me to use myhack to prepare my USB drive. I am using a 80gb SATA hdd in a USB enclosure.

Basically what I do is this:

Make a single partition on the drive (HFS+), with MBR instead of GUID (recommended on myhack website)

Run the myHack installer mpkg.

I then try to boot my notebook with this drive, and it hangs on load. No chameleon or anything.

I know Chameleon will work because I've managed to run it from an ##### CD.

I know I can boot from a HDD, because I put Hiren's on it with grub4dos and it booted fine.

The system I'm using to prepare the USB drive is an iBook G4 800mhz running Tiger.

Anyone have any ideas whats up? Is there a better method for me? Thanks!
