I am totally new to making a hackintosh but i have recently been curious and wanted your opinion to see if it would be worth the trouble of trying. I was thinking of installing it another HDD that I have. The pc below was made in the last year and would like to take advantage of what I have and dual boot Or do you recommend me building out a new pc for the hackintosh?

Thanks in advance!

Booting Windows on one drive and Snow Leopard on the other works very well, there are more problems when both OS are on the same drive. Did you install Windows under sata/AHCI mode in Bios? Your system should be ok. Sometimes there are "challenges" getting one or another device working right like the ethernet. Don't expect instant gratification.

I used http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/04/ibo...ac-os-x-on.html plus the 10.6.3 retail OS X dvd because it's cheap.
