Hi guys,

im new here so go easy on me :)

basically, what happened is i set up my samsung r580 laptop with OS X 10.6.6 Official from apple with ##### bla bla bla.... everything was fine using -v cpus=1 busratio=19

it installed and i was in

i used ##### to get things going, everything seemed fine except obviously microphone which does not work, couldnt see battery level, and the part i was attempting to fix, no internet!

i tried getting the correct kext for getting it to work to no avail.

I did get a kext installed but it did not work.

and when i tried to go into os x i got an error of some kind, (no time to read my computer restarted)

i decided i would just wipe the partition in windows and start over, yet in ##### it says its still there (even though the partition was wiped) and i cant even get to the installation screen it just says (waiting for root device).

help would be much appreciated, thanks

regards

soofking.

What's your install method, ##### + retail DVD?

It sounds like ##### is trying to boot from your deleted partition instead of your DVD drive.

Follow the instructions given on [whereever you got ##### from] on how to boot from DVD.
