Hi everybody!

I'm new here, but I finally got Mac OSX 1.6.7 working on my Dell Inspiron 1545.

Here are my specs:

-Intel Core 2 Duo T 6400 2.0GHz

-ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330

-Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN

-320 GB HDD

I used Hazard Snow Leopard 1.6.2 and updated it later to 1.6.7

First I made 3 partitions (1 HFS journaled for MAC OS and 2 FAT for Windows) with the MAC OS partition tool.

Then I formatted the FAT partitions into NTFS and installed Windows 7.

After that I booted with 321boot and installed Mac OS and chameleon bootloader.

I got all but the WiFi working.

For the Intel WiFi 5100 there is no kext, so I temporary use my iPhone via PDAnet for wireless Internet connection.

After hours of trying I got finally my Mobility Radeon HD 4330 to work correctly.

I used the following kext to get native screen resolution (1366x768)

RadeonHD.kext.lebidou.zip

Sorry for my bad english.. ;)

I hope, I could help some people with the same Mobility Radeon problems as myself..

RadeonHD is wonderful, but it does not give you QE

Some 1545 people have gotten their graphics fully functional (like c0ke) -- see the Hardware section -- but if you have the 1400x900 screen like me its still a work in progress.

This is how I got my wifi functional:

Locate IO8211Family.kext in /S/L/E

Locate AppleAirPortBrcm4311.kext inside its plugins

Open its info.plist. Under IONameMatch add:

<string>pci14e4,4315</string>

repair permissions and reboot

I can't get eather of these things working! (I'm a noob, but I have the same specs as you, reaper27!)

I don't really get why it won't work... (do you have to have the ATI kexts? I deleted them :( )

Sorry for the bad english!

Please tell me what to do!

EDIT: I got my graphics working, finaly (only resolution still no QE/CI) But still no wifi, any other tips for that? After I tried yourse, I tried one I already had, and it had like twice as many "pce14e4, 43.." but still not! any tips at all? (is it posible to change the wifi card in a laptop? Maybe I'll do that then -> sorry for the noobie question :P )

Hello, there can you tell me which options you chose during the installation?

Thanks
