EX110 Keyboard Problem

Ok, so I built a Hackintosh with an AMD Phenom II 945 on a Gigabyte MA-GA790XT-UD4P board with the Retail Snow Leo DVD and Nawcom's USB method. Everything works pretty well after some modifications. I thought I was done with it until I swapped the Mouse and Keyboard for the EX110 set (http://www.logitech.com/en-ca/433/154). To my surprise, the Keyboard would not be recognized at all...

Here is some preliminary info: Keyboard and Mouse are wirelessly connected to a Receiver that can be plugged in directly through USB OR offers a PS2 plug for the mouse and an adapter for the USB to make it a PS2 Keyboard input. I have been using it with USB only as that's the way I used it in Windows.

I checked some info around various websites and many people pointed to the Logitech Control Centre, which I tested with still no luck, only the Mouse would be discovered. I also tried USB Overdrive X, but again, only the Mouse would be discovered. I proceeded to try connecting everything through their PS2 counterparts. Nothing would work that way. With some more testing I found that the keyboard in PS2 would at least work in the BIOS (meaning I can press Del to get into the config). It also responded in the OSX Bootloader but not when the OS loaded. I was going to try VoodooPS2 but I got a kernel panic and so I went back in Safe Mode. To my surprise, the keyboard would now at least type! None of the extra functions work (obviously), but all keystrokes are recognized. On the receiver however, it reacts the safe when I press NumLock and CapsLock. It doesn't illuminate the LED, only the Function LED is on, which leads me to believe it isn't in the usual mode it loads.

I'm truly at a loss here, could anyone offer any insight into my problem? What fallback USB option does Safe Mode use for this to work?

Thanks in advance, any help is appreciated!
