nate_hub Posted March 29, 2011 Share Posted March 29, 2011 Sorry, I'm a noob. I've never installed any OS apart from Windows using a legit disk. I'm trying to install SL using iATKOS s3 v2 on a Samsung Q430 notebook (Intel i5, nVidia GeForce 310m, ) and when I try to boot from the disk on startup, Chameleon loads and when I try to install, it gives me the message: "efi_inject_get_devprop_string NULL trying stringdata" The Apple logo appears on screen for half a second and then the system reboots. I've searched around and this is a fairly common error message but I can't seem to find a solution. Sorry to have to ask. I can provide any other system info you need.
