I've used the bootloader and got the Snow Leopard 10.6 retail disc running without needing any boot command (like -x or -v).

It install sperfectly with no problem and I get the big gree tick after a successful installation.

When restarting, I pop the disc in and this is where my glitching begins.

When using the Boot disc and trying to boot my Install OSX it freezes at the ACPI: System State [s0 S3 S4 S5] (S3) line. This is the line before the "RTC single RAM" line. This happens in -v and -x boot.

I know the RTC thing is the problem as I've previously tried to install various version and got ElliottForceLegacyRTC panic.

HOWEVER, if I use bootloader disc, then pop the retail disc in as per install process, then boot the hard drive install, it boots. However, I don;t really want to have the disc in the entire time.

I'm a newbie at this, but I'm pretty confident that the "RTC" issue is causing my issues and just need to resolve this final thing before I have a Dell Inspiron 1520 mac!

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease someone help me resolve this as I'm sensing I'm within touching distance!
