Years ago, I took a Sony EyeToy from the PlayStation 2 and converted it into a webcam for my mac using the maccam.component driver. This worked very well, until I upgraded to Snow Leopard. I've read in many places that the component needs to be in both the main library/quicktime folder and the username/library/quicktime folder. I tried that, restarted, but to no avail. The camera works in the Maccam app, but not in Skype, Photobooth, or anything else that I've come across. Anyways, if anyone knows of a solution, or any other way for me to use my camera in Skype, help would be much appreciated as I've been unable to find a solution for a while now...
