Unreleased Posted March 5, 2011 Share Posted March 5, 2011 Hello all, I've got some problems with my sound. I have an onboard ALC888DD and a Soundblaster X-FI Plantinum USB. First I try to get my ALC888DD work. I try the VoodooHDA 0.2.2 package but it doesn't work for the 888DD. Then I try the VoodooHDA 0.2.72 package and the sound works but I can't use the volume up/down keys on my keyboard and the volume control in the finderbar. When I use the volume up/down keys from the keyboard I see the volume OSD and i hear the "blob" sound but nothing happens. When I use the volume control from an application such as iTunes or Songbird I can adjust my volume. With the Soundblaster X-Fi I have the same problem. Additionally I have to replug the usb cable after starts iTunes/Songbird to get sound in this application. Anyone nows this problems and can help me to get a working volume control???
