Jaffa
Hey guys, I have been trying to figure this out and I cant seem to... How do you do iChat backdrops in iChat? Thanks Jeff
ampTK
You can't, it's a developers preview. Apple figured out that developers don't need fancy ichat for testing apps.

Gaber
{censored} doesn't mean stupid... Yes, I agree that it stinks and everything that it isn't included, but uh, there's not much use for it right now, as andazp said.
Christian Leduc
There is use for it ;-) Either i help Apple testing software all the line down indirectly or not. If they choose, they have to put iChat in my hands now You know, in leopard you can resize "text boxes" like the one i'm just writing in now. Developers don't need that in my opinion

But, Apple wasn't going to remove every little detail that devs don't "need." iChat backdrops is a big one.
Adrian Fogge
Now that was a damn nice find... Wonder what practical application this would have rather than completely screwing up Ajax applications?
Takuro
So not only is it only a demonstration version of Leopard, but it doesn't even necessarily pack all the features that Jobs showcased. In most respects, I suppose it really is strictly a developer preview that fulfills basic needs to get programmers familiar with xcode 3.0, Time Machine, and most of the any other main features. I guess we'll have to be patient until Spring '07 to enjoy all the new "toys" and GUI enhancements.
