Well I have been working on a hackintosh VAIO and it's quite impossible. These things are meant for Windows and they wanna keep it that way. Lately I've tried about 200 iso's and nothing has worked I've tried ripping my own base files off a real disc and comboniziations of things and I'm ready to kill Apple and Sony. I have a sony VAIO VGN-FW510F and I love it when I'm not trying to install Mac x86. I recently found out that iPC will work with this model and all I need to do is replace some kexts. But I would really like Snow Leopard 10.6.6 and I have a retail copy. I am wondering if anyone can tell me if I install iPC and then insert the Snow Leopard disc will I be able to upgrade since the disc will see the computer as a mac and if it were a mac it would work so can anyone help. If that wont work then what do I need to do to get some sort of upgrade for 10.5.2 THANK YOU in advance.
