Hello insanelymac forum,

While trying to set up a partition in order to install MAC, my Disk Utility can't detect my HDD, it found my DVD Drive but not my HDD.

My HDD is in the 2# SATA Port and did set up my system as follows:

- Storage to AHCI

- Enabled ACPI 2.0

- Enabled ACPI APIC

however, the disk utility can't detect my hdd, no matter i use AHCI or IDE.

My System:

Processor: Intel i7 920

Motherboard: Asus P6T SE

Graphic Card: NVIDIA 260 GTX

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB

RAM: 4GB

is there anything i do wrong? i really start getting crazy :)
