Arbs
Ok, let's start this off with what i have. I have a pavillion dv6t quad core, with the basics. Nothing special. Now, i tried dual-booting with tonymac's #####, etc, but when i put the retail CD in, it says "you must restart your computer" in 30 different languages (Mac installer). I'm not worried about that anymore; while dual-booting is cool, it's too much of a hassle now Instead, i tried VMWare, which I have version 7.1 of (legal). It gave me the "Mac OS x is not supported with software virtualization" message. This thread is not mainly about that, but any help/fix is a ppreciated. Mostly, it's about VirtualBox, and SATA controllers. Now, as many people with HP pavillions know, the BIOS is AWFUL. The best feature it has is Boot Order, and that's it. So, my question is, how do i NOT have these SATA drivers? Every guide to installing Mac OS x on VirtualBox does not have SATA drives, just IDE. It has mac os.vdi under IDE controllers, whereas mine has it under SATA controllers. Any help? Please tell me if i wasnt clear
