rice_cake9 Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 Hi, I'm new to this and trying to install 10.5.6 on my HP laptop. I've burned the image twice and the same thing happens, when I boot with the disk and select -v, it freezes here: Hfs+ file [/system/library/extensions.mkext] from 4230a80 After a few seconds the dvd stops spinning and my screen no longer updates (I let it sit at this screen for 30 minutes and nothing happened). My system is a HP G60 laptop, AMD Turion x2, 32bit, 2.20ghz, 3gb ram, (should I partition before installing because I'm kinda a noob at this even though I did a lot of research so far) Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I also tried ideneb and it gave me some other errors please help!!!! not working so far and I gave it 3 days of trying to download drivers and other iso's that didn't work.
