I've installed SL 10.6.4 on my HP dv7-3186cl laptop following Zack's "[GUIDE] HP DV7, Windows 7 and Snow Leopard" <http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=218768>. In general, the installation seems to be stable, fast, and very usable. There are only a few minor issues:

 

1. No ethernet

2. Brightness control not working (Fn keys F7 and F8)

3. HDMI works but without audio

4. Sleep not working

 

I believe it uses the Mobile Intel HM55 Express Chipset.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
