scelsi
Ok, bear with me here, I'm not so bright. I'll built a computer near two years ago, following the lifehacker build guide here: http://lifehacker.com/#!5351485/how-to...start-to-finish So my components are: Antec Sonata III 500 Black ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 500W Power Supply GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard Intel Core 2 Quad 3.0GHz LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Processor GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Patriot Extreme Performance 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory x 2 (for a total of 8GB) Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EADS 1TB SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Pioneer CD/DVD Burner Black SATA Model 10/ 100/ 1000/ 2000Mbps PCI Copper Gigabit Network Adapter It worked pretty well, had some problems getting my computer to recognize an airport, which I fixed, but it is so long ago now that I forget how I achieved this task. I've had problems since but not knowing how to fix them, even with the requisite research I kind of just shrugged my shoulders and let it be, as the computer still performed mostly fine. My main problem is this, I just updated to 10.6.6 and now the computer is telling me no airport card installed, I re-researched it, thinking I could once again fix my own problems, but this seems not to be the case. Any help is much appreciated, but you'll have to keep in mind that I know the very bare minimum to be able to do this. So simple is better with me. Thanks in advance for your help, and most of all patience. Jon
