Kwisatz78 Posted February 23, 2011 Share Posted February 23, 2011 Hi all I am attempting my first hackintosh and was looking to follow the guide here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=185097 I am using an i7 CPU and an X58 mobo so thought I shoudl go that way. However I am getting a blink cursor at the preboot loader part. Searching the rest of the thread it says to use a different pre-loader but the link is dead. Does anyone have any idea on where I should go from here? Also on a separate point I am wanting to dual boot with windows 7 but already have windows 7 installed and have an unallocated partition on the drive where I was going to put OSX SL.
