Hey everyone, I have been working on getting a perfect Snow Leopard install for the past week, and I can't seem to get audio working!

Here are some basic specs:

Intel Pentium 4

NVIDIA 9500GT

2GB DDR2 RAM

Realtek ALC860 (DEV: 0880 and VEN: 10EC) **This is what Windows 7 tells me, and the Realtek program in Windows tells me that it is an ALC860 codec...

I just got through updating to 10.6.6 from iAtkos S3 10.6.3

I had to patch ethernet myself and all that, but everything is now working perfectly EXCEPT audio!

I have tried installing the VoodooHDA kext, but I get a kernel panic on every reboot... ;)

Even after uninstalling AppleHDA, I get the kernel panic with VoodooHDA.. so I booted into safe mode and removed the damn kext and now I am running fine in normal mode... Can someone please help me with this issue? Audio was supposed to be the easiest thing to fix and it has turned out to be a {censored} to patch/ find the right kexts..

Any help will be greatly appreciated! :)
