anurag43 Posted February 19, 2011 Share Posted February 19, 2011 hi, im using vmware player 3.1.3 and i want to install mac os 10.6.4 on it... but as soon as i hit start button it says 'the host does not have hardware virtualization enabled' i checked in bios but there was nothing option like virtualization .. im using windows 7 ultimate should i update my bios version or what?? pls help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
stmatrix Posted February 23, 2011 Share Posted February 23, 2011 Hi there! I am not familiar with your MB 'DG4IRQ', but I do use an Intel MB DH55PJ. I enabled the Virtualization or VT from BIOS, which is located under the menu "Security". In my case, there were options to be enabled (1.) Intel® Virtualization Technology (2.) Intel® VT for Directed I/O .. I hope this is helpful, in any case if you are wondering if your Hardware/PC supports virtualization then the tool "securable" should come handy, no installation just run it, google it (The first one in your search result) or download the attachment I ve uploaded, n good luck with your VT!! securable.exe Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
