3ng1and Posted August 14, 2006 Share Posted August 14, 2006 Alright, I have a macbook at work, we installed ram into them and they were fine, we went to install the ram into my laptop that was already having problems, we put in the ram, and then the laptop wouldn't turn on at all, a person I work with took it to our local apple store, they tried it out with the original ram, no such luck, after this they told us that the Logic Board was toast and they needed to repair it, sent it into apple, no such luck with repairs because by putting in more ram we voided the warranty???? and that it would cost $800 to fix! where can I find a logic board or how can I get apple to fix this? can I buy an apple warranty and then send it in???
