I was running on a perfect 10.6.2 vanilla when I downloaded and installed the combo update for 10.6.4. When I booted up, it was fine but went to a black screen. Not even LCD panel power. It looked like it was off (but it wasnt obviously). Booting in verbose produces no errors and has the same screen. I tried isolating some kexts and removing all (talking about graphic kexts). It works, I can blindly log in and use voiceover to start playing songs in iTunes. Does anyone have any suggestions?
