Hello,

I was going to post to http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=231768 but since I'm a newbie, I wont be able to ask questions anywhere else except here. So here are my problems,

Before trying to get 64-bit to work, 32-bit kexts works fine using ##### ATY_init Uakari enabler and Chameleon 2.0 RC5 - ATI experimental bootloader installed running HDMI monitor but sound does not work on my HDMI monitor.

System spec:

- Gigabyte P67A-U3 (F6a) with i7-2600k

- 4GB DDR3 RAM

- MSI R5850 twin frozr 1GB

- OCZ vertex2 120gb

- 1TB HD

I would hope someone can help me as this is what I've tried so far:

1) Saved graphics ROM using GPU-Z creating 1002_6899.rom and saved it to /Extra (see attached)

2) Modify com.apple.Boot.plist by adding UseAtiROM = yes strings

3) Downloaded the latest boot.gz file from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=231768 revision 700 and install it to /boot

4) Move /S/L/E/ATY_init to /backup

5) Reboot with -v but it got stuck waiting for video

6) Using MyHack USB, I boot into "installation" mode and run terminal to modifiy com.apple.Boot.plist with AtiConfig = Uakari, reboot but still doesnt work, I've tried Vervet, Uakari, Hoolock,Alopias,Alouatta, Baboon but none boot

7) Move /backup/ATY_init back to /S/L/E to get back to 32-bit mode

I am at a lost now as I've searched but dont get much hits on MSI5850 cards running macosx. Anyone care to help a newbie out or give suggestions that I can try? Also, anyone got HDMI sound to work?

Thank you for any suggestions and your time.
