fizzy123
Hi, I have just installed 10.6.3 via a retail version of Snow Leopard using ##### to install. Install was successful, everything worked apart the network card and the Asus 5670. However, installing 10.6.5 update seems to be ok, until you restart and then the apple logo comes up and then after a few minutes a grey screen with black artefacts comes up and then just freezes. Restored a backup to 10.6.3. then i tried to install 10.6.6 update and installed fine and reported it well in the system, however when i restarted the machines using verbose mode it froze again at ahci_smc_....timed out. this is without any kexts or bootloaders installed so now restoring back to 10.6.3. anyone know what the problem could be. specs are Asrock g31m-vs2 motherboard Intel Pentium E6500 2.9ghz 3gb ram 500gb HDD Asus EAH5670
