updating iatkos v7 10.5.7 to apples update of 10.5.8 kills ethernet driver

whenever i try to update to apples 10.5.8 version my ethernet driver stops working and it wont detect the ethernet cable i have tried installing the intel pro 100v ethernet driver again from the iatkos v7 disc and i have tried installing kexts manually with no succes any help would be greatly appreciated heres my hardware list its on an old gateway e-6000
