edi gotlieb
hi, lately ive been trying to install Mac OS Snow Leopard on my PC, and ive run into some technical difficulties. im using the #####+MultiBeadt method and guide since it seems the simplest. i downloaded the latest version of ##### and burned it to a dvd, the same i did with a mac os snow Leopard retail iso i found on the net. i then proceeded to configure my bios as stated in the guide: SATA Controller= AHCI Mode. HPET Mode= 64 bit Mode. next i boot into the RC5 thing with #####, i then swapped the discs( inserted the retail disc) and booted normally. the boot gets stuck at the grey apple screen after loading for about a minute then hanging at that screen with a small "no-entry" sign 'on the apple'. i next tried to do this in (-v) Verbose mode in which i also had no success. the boot gets stuck after loading a bunch of hsf files or something. (i have an image attached of the prompt) my hardware configuration is as follows: Gigabyte P55A-UD3 i5- 760 2 GB DDR3 RAM (1333 Mhz) Nvidia GTX 260. WD 500 GB sata hard disk. HP (IDE) Optical Drive. - (connected with ide cable to channel 4) (usb mouse and keyboard) - i removed any other pieces seeing they might create more problems. what am i doing wrong? did i miss a step? from what i understood my hardware is compatible with the mac os, but im obviously missing something...? (im a noob to this so please answer me in simple terms ) help i am very frustrated and hope someone here can help me. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
