i need some serious help! i've been doing everything for the past two days from the /sbin/fsck -fy trick in Single-User Mode (which said System Files have been fixed blah blah blah), checked out what i can in Verbose mode (which had an infinite amount of crash reports to save to my HD ddealing with /usr/libexec/, even tried Safe Mode (which wont even work)

i'm not sure whats going on with this thing :) i just got it from a friend who has never ever had a problem with it. he doesn't have the install dvd (obviously i would have just reinstalled)

can anyone tell me what to do? like i said before, i think i've tried all the tricks lol but to to prevail.

i was wondering if there was some kind of code like the /sbin/fsck -fy code that could launch me straight into Safe Mode?

please help!
