hello guys, this may sound stupid, but i just dont feel comfortable with iTerm (and less with the default terminal for osx), in particular with 2 little but important (for me) facts.

what its the equivalent on iTerm for the Alt+. shortcut on any linux terminal? (the one that rollsback to a previuos word that you had wrote)

and how do you go to the begin and the end of a line on iTerm? as doing Apple+left or right arrows just cycles through tabs, and on osx the "home" and "end" keys are useless
