Yeah so my rig is running stable as can be at 3.6ghz, 20% OC on a stock HSF. However, I am a cautious person as even though conroe has come out and my chip is dirt cheap, I don't want to go out and buy a new one quite yet and like to keep any eye on my chip. So anyone got a temp monitoring program, or even better yet, something built in that I am unaware of? Thank you again for any feed back.

I personnaly use 'Temperature Monitor' under mac osx. (There is always temperature in the menu bar, so i know when am i going to toast !)

snikx,

When i ran Temperature Monitor, it went through all the necessary installation procedures and installed x86 drivers etc. When I go to the preferences, it says it's monitoring SMART Disk ST33206... which happens to be my harddrive model listed under system profiler. Is the temperature it's recording my harddrive temperature? If so, how can i get it display my processor's temperature. Sorry for my incompetence.

thanks in advance!
