Manolo1
Hello forum. I have never used OS X before and I want to learn before I commit to buying a new mac and I prefer not to use virtual box. Forgive me if any part of my post pisses you off. I never used OS X let alone installed it on a pc. I have been researching like crazy and im having some problems. I have a OS X 10.5.6 retail iso. I used MacDrive 8 in conjunction with PowerISO to mount the iso and drag the apple type files to my external HD. Basically what Im trying to do is install the OS from my external HD to my pc hd's unallocated space. One problem I have is that I can burn which ever boot loader I need to read and install the apple os, but I dont know which one will, or if its even possible.. to install the os from my external hd. I know I can burn the iso, but lets say thats not an option for me. It will have to be installed from my external hd. From there (in theory) im going to load grub boot loader to fix the boot issue im anticipating with vista and windows 7 which is already installed. Any help on this what so ever would be excellent. Again, if I left something out, forgive me and let me know. Also, I have been reading on this kernal situation where it may need to be cracked. Do I need a new image with mine being retail? umm..
