I can confirm this is also working for me on iAtkos S3 v2 10.6.3. without any updates. I only updated the Chameleon bootloader with ##### to version r699 (Normal version) and then followed the instructions from this thread.

Thanks a lot Jake.

I have a REALLY dumb question:

Why I have to install patched kexts on an "ATI Radeon HD 5670" if it actually come with the reals iMacs? That doesn't make much sense to me...

Does sound work through the HDMI output with this card?

It can if you get the connector-type set right and also the hda-gfx injection strings. See http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=249642

With graphics strings injection via Kabyl's chameleon branch you don't need to patch any kexts. Unless you need to enable certain connectors that are not present on the real imacs such as external displayport. In that case follow my guide

If you install the 10.6.7 2011 MBP ATI kexts, you may not even need the above.

Can you upload corrected version you made for ATI HD5670 so we can try that? Thanks!

Used Retail disk to install SL (using Maldon's method) and upgraded to 10.6.7 from combo update.

Have Two MBR HDDs with Win7 on them plus one GUID disk on GA EP35 DS3L. Card is Redwood ATI HD 5670 (Asus) 1GB gddr5. Output via DVI to one monitor and VGA>DVI cable to another.

Boots with Hackboot to 10.6.7. Dual monitors working, full resolution.

Could you give instructions?:

1. Install RC5 to HDD

2. Make sure I have right power setup

3. Get QE\CI

Thanks
