John415 Posted December 25, 2010 Share Posted December 25, 2010 I turn on my computer today and it wont boot up. It gets to the apple logo then the screen turn off. The fan on the graphic card speeds up (loud). I want to wipe my hard drive and start new. I trying to get to the bios but no luck. I tryed safe mode (-x) but it still doesnt boot to safe mode. Can someone help me out with the steps to wipe out the hard drive and also to get to the bois. I can tell you the steps I taking to get to the bios. I just wait untill I see the gigabyte logo then I start to press delete but nothing happens. Sometimes it get to the tonymac logo ([url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url]). Then the computer gives some options. I select an option press enter and the screen turns black and my graphics card fan speeds up again. It happen all the time after the apple logo switches. I used I Boot and [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] for the install. These are my specs.
