Markrtoon
Boot into single user mode, by pressing -s, at the prompt. No Quotes either. Then, "/sbin/fsck -fy" Then "/sbin/mount -uw /" Then "passwd (ENTER USERNAME HERE) No Parenthesis." Enter your password. Enter it again. Type "reboot". Don't think he knows the "user name" to find user accounts and reset password on those accounts without having to create another account. fifth link down in above search. I was going to test.it, BUT you are quite capable. I am sure that a search like this will sort it out http://www.google.com.au/#hl=en&biw=11...71d041fc8b68b36 . Markrtoon
Never seen that before, you know there's a space in between where you type passwd and then your username? Try changing it for root.

When you login as the new admin you can simply delete the old one and you’re good to go again!
