Hi i am trying to remove NullCPUPowerManagement.kext with DSDT fixes.

I tried a lot of thing. No luck yet. When i tried to remove my NullCPUPowerManagement.kext from my Extra folders i am getting K.P. with this error.

panic(cpu 2 caller 0xffffff7f8066020b): "CPU 7 has no HPET assigned to it"@/SourceCache/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement-105.13/(i couldnt read this part because of photo sorry)

Debugger called: <panic>

0xffffff8147ba3f50 : 0xffffff7f8066020b

0xffffff8147ba3fa0 : 0xffffff80002c72e7

Kernel Extensions in backtrace (with dependencies):

com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement(105.13.0)@0xffffff7f8065b000->8xffffff7f88670fff

Is there anyway to fix this ? I attached my DSDT and com.apple.boot.plist

Right now there is only three kext in my Extra

FakeSMC

NullCPUPowerManagement

SleepEnabler

Any help will be appreciated.

the dsdtpatcher (fassl)

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=133683

has the option -newHPET

that generates an HPET "standard", you can try it!

I have seen some cases like his

and unfortunately had no solution

do it with the original DSDT

that its the HEPT was modified
