So nobody is talking about VMware for Mac...

I'm already on it. VMware must have updated that screeny, when I signed up for it early monday morning, Parallels was in the dock. Weird.

I bought Parallels the last day of the sale and so far I've been quite pleased with the performance (concidering I'm running it on a sse2 hackintosh). The only big problem I've had with it so far is it connecting my RAZR to it...that damn "wait 5-10 seconds" {censored} allways comes up. I updated Parallels with the beta and still a no go.

If the VMware beta has this functionality out of the box...I might be persuaded to switch over if Parallels doesn't get it together when they "release the final update in just a few weeks".

Thats the killer feature for me. I suspect they will have it in there - the windows version certainly can directly use real partitions, and Hardware Profiles in windows lets you handle native / non-native boots from the same partition.

Cant wait ;)

"They also indicated they'd like to make this app as Mac like as possible, and do everything the "OS X way". (And no, this won't work with Boot Camp volumes, because there are a lot of problems to doing that, but they're working on ways they might be able to migrate existing Windows installations into VMs"
