aherron Posted December 9, 2010 Share Posted December 9, 2010 hello forums, i have searched long for a remedy to my issue. i used to have Final Cut Pro 5 but deleted it with appzapper, then sometime later i installed a newer version of FCP7. my problem is that the ProAppsUpdate2005-01 stays in my software update (SU) queue no matter how many times ive installed it. what's more, Library/Receipts/InstallHistory.plist actually shows the update has installed a whopping 8 times. Any insight into how to get SU to act correctly? How does it compile it's list? im thinking there is some plist for FCP5 somewhere that never got wiped making SU think i still have it, but i dont so the update never installs correctly and queues up for the next time.
