skysea76
I'm thinking of building my own card with a mini pcie card + pcie x1 adapter. Any mini pcie card apple uses should work (obviously) and since apple has boot-camp, it's sure to work in windows 7 too (even if only apple uses the card). the adapter will be a generic one from ebay (~$5). But one card in particular has caught my attention: the Broadcom BCM943224PCIEBT. This card has both bluetooth & 802.11n on the same card (this is crucial since it assures me I'll be waving by by to interference problems!). The chips are BCM2070 (bluetooth) and BCM43224 (wifi). So what do you guys think? Anyone using this card? Does it really work as well as I'd think it should work? Other options are the BCM94321MC ($15) or the BCM94322MC ($18). The BCM943224PCIEBT -Apple branded- runs for $22, so I think it's definitely worth it (considering it includes bluetooth and I might be able to sell my USB dongle for a few $).
