Hi all,

I hope someone will be able to answer this here, I can only post in the newbie forum

I have just finished successfully building my OSx86 machine. It wasn't easy as some of my hardware is less than ideal, but it works. It's a GA-965P-S3 board with a Q6600 CPU and a Sapphire ATI 4670 video card.

The system is updated to 10.6.4, I havent upgraded to 10.6.5 yet.

My problem is that it only boots with arch=i386. I cannot make it boot at 64 bit mode, and I don't see what would make it fail, so I have to assume its one of the kexts I am using. When it fails it says there is no SMC device. I have trying various FakeSmc kexts.

I have in the Extra folder -

AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext

EvOreboot.kext

FakeSMC.kext

IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext

LegacyAppleRTC.kext

NullCPUPowerManagement.kext

VoodooPS2Controller.kext.

in S/L/E I have a patched IONetworkingFamily patched for the Yukon 88E8056 ethernet adapter onboard.

I thought it was LegacyAppleRTC - but it came from myHack 1.1.4, and I think this version supports both 32 and 64 bit.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Oren
