Hello everyone, I have 10.6.3 installed on my Dell Optiplex 755 (Quad2Core, 4gb ram). Since I am very new to this, I do not know how to manually install kexts. So I used the KextInstaller program (believe I found it on this site). It worked well for my network card (at least at firsrt), but now I am getting errors saying:

"System extension cannot be used

The system extension "/System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntel82566.kext" was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product's vendor for an update."

I am also getting a similar error for the power management kext I installed. The biggest problem is that OS X is just very glitchy. I had a real G4 ppc and it *never* had problems like this, so I know it's something I've done wrong on the OSx86 end.

Would updating to 10.6.4 help this??

Please help, thank you very much in advance!!!
