krishar
Hi All, I just want to share this, espcecially with greens like me. I have an Asus eeePC 1201T with Windows 7 Ultimate inside. The spec: Asus eeePC 1201T CPU: AMD MV40 Chipset: RS780M VGA: Mobility Radeon HD3200 RAM: 2GB Ive got Kalyway 10.5.2 for installing Mac in the asus. There is little information on the web about Mac on the eeePC1201T, but I found many things in this forum making me brave enough to start (Im not expert in computer, so dont ask me technical) First I took just 50 GB from the D sector and partitioned it from Windows 7 installer in NTFS format. After that I boot from the Kalyways DVD, go into Disk Utility and change the 50GB to Mac Extended (journaled), and then installing the Mac OS. Choose the Custom install and make choice, for me the set is: sleepkernel speedstepkernel Graphics_Drivers Ati_Radeon NATIT_For_X2000_X3000_Series white_menus_fixe_HD2600_pro white_menus_fixe_HD3850_3870x2 Audio_Drivers Intel NVIDIA VIA ATI HDAudioController NVIDIAAC97Audio Realtek Sigmatel ConexantAnalogDevicesHDAudioCodec (generic output support) Networks_Drivers Networks_Cards AppleBCM440XEthernet AppleBCM5751Ethernet AppleRTL8169Ethernet MarvellNetworkAdapter Wifi_Card AtherosWirelessAdapter Mobo_Chipsets (support for ati ; nvidia ; intel ; via ; sis ; marvell ; jmicron) AppleNForceATA AppleOnboardPCATA AppleVIAATA AppleGenericPCATA SiliconImage3132 Thirds_Applications (will be installed in /applications/KOOLSOFTS/) candybar Growl kextHelperB7 Iphoto pacifist perian SimplyBurns solarseek stuffitExpander vlc xbench Patches Hardcoded_SMBIOS Lastnetkassmbios (with coreplayer fix , mozzy and logmein !) AMD_1052_Patches (select patch 1 or patch 2) AMD_1052_Patch_test_2 -legacy flag Dont ask me why I choose the above set, I just guessing. After finished it rebooting than it hanged. I change the Kalyway w Win7 installer and Repair the Win7. Startup w Win7 and install EasyBCD for booting manager, restart from computer, set the boot startup option w EasyBCD. Restart again, by now the screen must be opening the Booting option, Mac or Windows. Choose MacX and it then opening the Chameleon window. Typed F8 quick then you must be arrive at Chameleon option window. Now hit the Spacebar, and you will see the small word "boot:" on below left corner of the screen, typed -s <enter> you then see the scrolling words, wait till it stop. then type exactly like this: mount -uw / <enter> passwd root <enter> type a password <Enter> retype the password <Enter> touch /var/db/ .AppleSetupDone <Enter> reboot <Enter> (I use "root" as the pasword) Now the comp rebooting, choose the Mac again, wait until the Login window appear, typed "root" as User name and "root" as password, hit Enter. It still has problem (black outline around the selected Icon, cannot stretch the window, etc) but at least you are now inside the Mac. Many Thanks to Giorgio_Multi for his guidance. Without him I am hopeless. Cheers Kris
