Hope that helps any future searchers! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Guys, On 10.6.4 I managed to get this wireless card working using the AtherosFix.kext and inserting my PCI id. I upgraded to 10.6.5 and got a KP relating to AtherosFix. I had read on some other threads that some Atheros based cards don't need the kext any more so I removed it. It didn't seem to work either. I found the following thread: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=234570 This details a fix for a different Atheros based card, by editing the IO80211 standard apple kext to add the device ID. That didn't really work either. The airport interface is shown in my network preferences, but I can't turn it on. Does anyone have any other insight on this?
